"It has to start somewhere"

At age 11, I took on my first managing role, and the love for sports statistics started with boys' softball. After a year as only the boys' softball manager, I decided to expand in 7th Grade to include girls' volleyball. The biggest managing year of these middle school days was 8th grade, where boys' basketball and volleyball were added to the mix, combing for more sports (4) than days off between (2).

Much of my rise to becoming a great statistician and manager sprouted in these 3 years under Coaches Brian Esker and, perhaps the greatest influence, Michael Cronin.
